\"momJosh and Tiffany Noel, of Morton, were married in 2005. After six years of marriage, the couple realized starting a family wasn\u2019t happening naturally and began having concerns about their fertility.<\/p>\n

What they thought would be a joyful journey to parenthood, turned out to be a roller coaster ride of uncertainty that would ultimately bring them their greatest gift.<\/p>\n

In 2012, Tiffany and Josh were referred to a fertility specialist.<\/p>\n

Tiffany underwent several rounds of fertility treatments. To the couple\u2019s disappointment, the treatments were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe treatments were very taxing and invasive,\u201d Tiffany said.<\/p>\n

A staggering diagnosis<\/h2>\n

Tiffany\u2019s gynecologist performed a laparoscopic surgery to determine if there were underlying causes in Tiffany\u2019s reproductive system. The doctor discovered she had stage four endometriosis and adenomyosis.<\/p>\n

Endometriosis<\/a> is a condition where the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows elsewhere, like the ovaries.\u00a0Adenomyosis is a condition where the endometrial cells grow into the uterine walls.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe doctor told me my endometriosis was the worst she had ever seen,\u201d Tiffany said. \u201cShe was able to laser off some of it, but the majority was too close to my major organs to remove.\u201d<\/p>\n

Surrendering to life without kids<\/h2>\n

Tiffany\u2019s doctor told her their only option to conceive was through a fertility treatment that would cost $20,000 out of pocket.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe surrendered to the fact that we wouldn\u2019t be biological parents,\u201d Tiffany said.<\/p>\n

That was until Tiffany\u2019s co-worker gave her a life-changing recommendation to see an obstetrician\/gynecologist at OSF Women\u2019s Health & FertilityCare<\/a> in Peoria. The practice focuses on monitoring and treating gynecological and reproductive health naturally through the Creighton Model FertilityCare System<\/a> and Natural Procreative Technology<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On July 29, 2014, Tiffany underwent a nine-hour surgery, where most of the endometriosis and adenomyosis was removed laparoscopically.<\/p>\n

\u201cA few months after surgery, I didn\u2019t have heavy menstrual cycles or severe cramping anymore,\u201d Tiffany said.<\/p>\n

Tiffany also started charting her cycles to help uncover abnormalities related to her gynecological health. Her chart showed she was low in progesterone \u2013 a hormone that plays a role in maintaining pregnancy.<\/p>\n

God\u2019s perfect timing<\/h2>\n

In March 2015, Tiffany realized the unthinkable \u2013 she was a week late for her cycle.<\/p>\n

She called the office immediately, and they had her come in for blood work.<\/p>\n

On March 27, God\u2019s plan for Tiffany was finally revealed. \u201cThe nurse called and said, \u2018Tiffany, you\u2019re pregnant!\u2019\u201d Tiffany said. \u201cI literally slid down the wall and sobbed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing told by three fertility specialists that you will be never be pregnant without an expensive fertility treatment, and then getting pregnant naturally – that\u2019s pretty incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n

On November 23, 2015, the couple welcomed their baby girl, Lily.<\/p>\n
